Questions the atelier is asked

These notes describe process: how a brand programme is structured, how campaign architecture is scoped, and how the Singapore marketing studio handles correspondence. They are written in the same voice as the work — calm, specific, without theatre.

How is a brand-strategy engagement structured at Your Brand Works?

A typical engagement opens with discovery: conversations, a reading of current materials, and audience segmentation notes. The atelier then writes a positioning framework — the competitive frame and the value story the organisation can fairly hold. From that frame comes a brand system: tone of voice as behaviour, application notes, and any naming questions that still sit open. Message hierarchy follows, ranking the primary claim, supporting proof and cadence so campaign architecture has an order. Working cadence is agreed in writing, usually as fortnightly tables during SGT working hours, with a named counterpart on the client side. The sequence is method before media: creative direction and channel mix arrive after the claim can be said plainly.

How is campaign work scoped?

Scope is a written brief. It names the question, the rooms involved, the documents the atelier will produce, and the review dates. If the organisation needs a sequence rather than only a frame, the brief includes campaign architecture, channel mix and an editorial calendar. A launch plan is added when a date is already on the wall. Integrated communications are designed as one story arriving in several rooms. Commercial terms stay in the proposal. The CBD creative quarter is full of informal briefs; the studio still writes them down.

Who does the studio typically work with?

Founders, marketing leads and brand managers. Singapore corporates bring mature organisations and a line that has tired. Regional scale-ups bring speed and an unfinished brand narrative. APAC campaigns are taken when the home line is already sound. A small client side is preferred so decisions can be taken in the room, on Amoy Street or by video.

What does working cadence look like?

SGT working hours are the default: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. Retainers usually keep a monthly desk. Sprints keep a tighter table. Comments are gathered in one pass where possible, so the message hierarchy does not get edited by committee in six different documents. Story arc notes are reviewed once, then locked, then applied.

How are email and telephone enquiries handled under the PDPA?

Messages sent through the contact form travel to hello@yourbrandworks.pro. Telephone notes on +65 6224 5138 are recorded so the atelier can reply. Those details are used to answer the enquiry and, if an engagement follows, to administer it. They are not sold. Access and correction requests go to privacy@yourbrandworks.pro. The full note lives on the privacy page.

Which timezone should counterparts use?

Asia/Singapore. The Amoy Street room, a short walk from Telok Ayer, keeps that clock. Visitors from neighbouring markets are asked to join SGT working hours unless another window is agreed in the brief.

How does creative direction sit beside strategy?

Creative direction is instruction, written after the positioning framework and the message hierarchy. It tells later makers how the brand system should behave in a given room. It does not replace campaign architecture. Method before media means the claim is settled before the pictures are discussed.

Can a naming question be taken on its own?

Yes, as Naming & Narrative Advisory. The atelier writes longlists and rationale; legal counsel remains with the client. Tone of voice is usually examined in the same pass, because a new name without verbal behaviour is only a label.

Your Brand Works Pte. Ltd. offers professional marketing and communications counsel: brand strategy, campaign architecture, creative direction and channel planning. The atelier’s work supports clearer positioning and more coherent campaigns. Specific lead volumes, sales outcomes, rankings, follower growth or advertising performance sit outside the scope of any engagement. Marketing decisions remain with the client. This is a professional services engagement, not an investment product and not financial advice.
